Dear Applicants,

We understand that our application is lengthy and a bit tedious; please appease us. As an ALL and MIXED breed rescue we can not generalize our application the way many other rescues can. We do NOT have specific requirements (such as a fenced yard or no children under 5 yrs) for all of our dogs but we may have some similar requirements for specific dogs. All of the people involved with Skyllerís Dog and Cat Rescue are volunteers with full time jobs, families, pets, foster dogs, and a million emails a day. Being thorough in the completion of this application, and asking any questions you have when submitting it, tremendously helps us reply to you faster ! Skyllerís Dog and Cat Rescue would truly like to thank you for choosing to rescue and save a homeless animal!!

WE APPRECIATE THE TIME YOU HAVE TAKEN TO FILL OUT THIS APPLICATION. OUR GOAL IS LONG-TERM HAPPINESS FOR BOTH THE ADOPTERS AND OUR RESCUED PETS. EVEN THOUGH YOURS MAY BE A GOOD HOME, WE SOMETIMES HAVE TO MAKE DIFFICULT CHOICES IN DECIDING WHICH HOME WOULD BEST FIT A SPECIFIC ANIMAL.

In addition, if for any reason, at any time, you cannot keep your pet, they must come back to the adoptive agency unless another adopter is approved in writing.
